Steeping - Puerh Tea

General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea

Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.

The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.

Red date, but muffled

These leaves have much less tea to give than most, ime, I used 10g/100ml and the flavor is still mellow with 30+ second steep times.

Red date Forsure, but old, not like the Chen Xiang aged aroma, but like stale red date, oxidized to the point it’s lost its flavor a little or is muffled. Also tastes and smells a bit like a campfire with a slight hui gan
