Harvested in early spring each year by picking only the young and tender early spring bud tea leaves. It is processed by hand and distinguished by its flat and smooth, emerald green appearance and shape of sword bud-set. 

Rich in antioxidants and a great source of iron, vitamins, and catechins help to slow down the process of aging and cardiovascular disease. A great tea to drink in summer due to its refreshing taste and a naturally healthy drink with only 2 to 3 calories per cup.

The tea liquor is bright and clear light honey with crisp soft refreshing bean flavor, lingering finish.

Steeping Green Tea

 

General Guide to making a Green (Longjing) Tea

Steep green tea in 75~85℃ water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:5. or 6 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.

Steep for 30 secs to 1 minute, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion. 

The number of infusion can range from 4 to 5 times.
