2012 Nanqiao Tea Factory, Nanqiao Selection Pu-erh Tea Cake
In response to the market’s demand for board leaf Pu-erh tea products, we ordered this tea cake exclusively by Nanqiao Tea Factory in 2011. Based on the 8582 concept and formulation, with the majority of ingredients from the organic wild-grown tree from the Bulang Mountains, and the rest with Nannuo area's 7th grade or above broadleaf.
Produced using traditional techniques, the tea cake weighs 400 grams, and the overall appearance of the teacake is robust with a mixture of colourful red, gold, and brown. After ten years of post-fermentation in our professional warehouse, the tea soup has turned reddish-brown. The tea taste has gradually become smooth and harmonious. Fruity, camphor wood and comfortable cha qi. Ideal for collecting or drinking.
Liquor: Clear golden brown
Fragrance: Camphor wood.
Flavour: Tea is smooth camphor wood taste with hui gan, good cha qi and throughout later infusions. Infused tea leaves are 7th to 9th grade, soft, medium-thick, greenish-brown colour with medium branches.
General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea
Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.
First steep for 5 to 10 sec and discard the water to clean and heat the tea leaves. Steep for 20 seconds, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion.
The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.
