Est. 1973, Yee On Tea Co. celebrated it's 40th-Anniversary with two limited edition Pu-erh tea cakes. The green 40th-anniversary commemorative raw Pu-erh tea cake is made by hand-picked early spring materials from a century-old tree of Yiwu Zheng Mountain. Made with traditional sprinkling and frying techniques, which fully demonstrates the reputation of Yiwu famous tea as being fragrant and soft.

The fragrance of the tea has a fresh woody and mint aroma. The first two infusions have a soft taste of ancient Yiwu trees, and the rich tea flavour emerges after the third brew. The tea has gentle Cha Qi, distinctive woody and floral fragrance. Soft taste and charm of a Yiwu old tea tree. The tea soup is a clear brownish-red complete hand-picked broad tea materials of grades 3 to 5 with tea stems. Used tea leaves are green and brown soft and fresh leaves. Aged in our professional warehouse since 2013.

Steeping - Puerh Tea

General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea

Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.

First steep for 5 to 10 sec and discard the water to clean and heat the tea leaves. Steep for 20 seconds, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion. 

The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.
