2007 Dayi "Hong Zhuang" Raw Pu-erh Tea (Batch 701)
The name Dayi needs no introduction. This is a new flagship product introduced by the famous Menghai Tea Factory in 2007 and this raw pu-erh tea is made with high-quality grade 3 - 5 material. Post fermented in our professional warehouse in Hong Kong since 2007 this pu-erh have a caramel flavour, smokey aroma, comfortable cha chi, fruity sweet taste that is refreshing and clean. This product from Dayi is getting increasingly hard to find and we a now offering this for the very first time at a very competitive price.
Tea fragrance: smoke scent.
Tea soup: orange-brown.
Infused tea leaves: young leaf buds of grade 3-5, soft and brown.
General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea
Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.
First steep for 5 to 10 sec and discard the water to clean and heat the tea leaves. Steep for 20 seconds, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion.
The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.
