GENUINE PRODUCT of the Manghai Tea Factory during the mid-1980s. This product takes a step further to the previously developed 7572 series by using broader leaves to strengthen the taste of Pu-erh tea. The packaging is characterized by a smaller description ticket and sometimes comes with designed characters on the ticket. This Pu-erh tea has been fermented for over 3 decades and possesses a rich aged, smooth aroma with a hint of ginseng flavour. A very mild, comfortable tea that aids digestion and can be consumed without the stimulating effect of caffeine. Post fermenting in our professional warehouse in Hong Kong for the past 3 1/2 decades.

Tea Appearance: liquor chestnut red. Infused tea leaves are very dark brown, almost black and rigid. 7~10 grade thick board leaves with branches.

Scent: Light Ginseng fragrance.

Taste: Sweet, mellow and comfortable, mild wood and sweet date taste. Multiple steepings and quick release of taste.

Steeping - Puerh Tea

General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea

Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.

First steep for 5 to 10 sec and discard the water to clean and heat the tea leaves. Steep for 20 seconds, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion. 

The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.
